Photo Art Friday: Orton Effect No.15

The original image was captured at Port Crescent State Park in Port Austin Michigan. The Orton Effect was pioneered by Michael Orton in an effect to imitate watercolor paintings. The technique was developed in the era before everything was digital and was done by sandwiching two transparencies of the exact same composition where one slide is in focus and overexposed while the second or third is out of focus and over exposed.
