Purple Calibrachoa

a purple calibrachoa flower

I’m sure there was a fancy name for this particular shade of purple but while doing research for this post i stumbled across several different names like Hawaiian Luau, Isabell Purple, or Royal King. While you could check the tag that has all of this information that comes with the plant at purchase it is lost so well just stick to calling this feature the Purple Calibrachoa.

Calibrachoa and Petunias are rather similar in appearance but the flowers of the calibrachoa tend to be smaller than that of the petunias. Also known as Million Bells, these plants can tolerate light frost and will thrive in sunlight or light shade.
