Wandering Wednesday: West Bloomfield Woods Nature Preserve Trail

Evidently there was some sort of problem with dog waste in this particular park as there are several signs reminding those who take their canines to this area that should your dog mess, be sure to clean up after it. Wandering Wednesday: Return to Don Green Nature Way

It’s been awhile since I hiked along this particular trail. It’s just as green as it was last year, perhaps greener due to all the summer rain we in Michigan have received recently. I’m on vacation from my “day” job this week which gave me the opportunity to take brief weekend trip to Upstate New York to see perhaps one of the most well known water falls in all of North America. Sunrise on the beach of William C Sterling State Park

From what I understand, William C Sterling Park which I will refer to as Sterling State Park for the sake of brevity claims to be the only Michigan park along lake Erie which I guess is technically true as the Erie Metro Park that I wrote about before is located at the mouth of theContinue reading “Sunrise on the beach of William C Sterling State Park”
