This hidden gem is located in Southfield Michigan and boast 42 acres of nature for the whole family to enjoy. The trail itself is about a mile long through a mostly wooded area though a portion of the trail passes by Carpenter Lake. Fishing is allowed for those anglers who have the patience.

Another feature of interest is the Art Rock Garden located at the Northern area of the preserve. It’s a great area for children and the young at heart to explore and a great spot to take photos.

Dogs are allowed on the trail and you can also fish in the lake. Something to keep in mind during your is the lack of public restrooms. I did see one port-o-potty at the South entrance to the park but failed to find any in the northern section. Perhaps this will change in time and if anything new develops I’ll be sure to keep you posted.
